Making sense of violence and celebrating our ladies
With major wildfires in both the US and Canada as well as across Europe and Russia (Eurasia), the Afghanistan evacuations and firefights, earthquakes, floods, heat waves and drought, humanity is faced with many adversities on top of the COVID-19 pandemic. Challenges are part of daily life and we are faced with not only exhaustion and fear but also the sadness of saying goodbye to family, friends and colleagues. But the ability to provide comfort, support and reassurance amidst this, lies with each one of us. Support to family, friends and colleagues. Even just a smile and a compliment.
This FRI Newsletter features a number of incidents and also profiles some of our ladies during Women’s Month. Let’s celebrate our first responders during these trying times.
Fire and Rescue International honours ALL first responders around the globe. Thank you for all that you do! Much respect!
