COVID-19: Visit the FRI Resource page
Fire and Rescue International has created a resource centre for our first responders for ease of reference. The page incorporates links, downloads and information sites from only official, accurate and legit resources such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), The South African Presidency, South African Government, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), South African Department of Health, National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) and the United Nations (UN).
New downloads in PDF format include:
We created this page as a one-stop-shop for first responders, emergency services and chiefs in order to provide all available information on a single platform and save you the time of searching for documents and links. This page will be updated on an ongoing basis and we would appreciate your feedback and information, documents, guides and links we do not already have.
Of interest is the OpenWHO website, which is WHO’s new interactive, web-based, knowledge-transfer platform offering online courses to improve the response to health emergencies. OpenWHO enables the organisation and its key partners to transfer life-saving knowledge to large numbers of frontline responders.
