Wishing you a Blessed Passover and a happy Easter!
In this ever changing world, I never imagined that I would ever wake one morning to quiet streets, to a world under pressure, fighting and praying for its survival. But when you walk outside and stand in the sun, you realise that it is not the world that’s under pressure, it is the human race that is in distress. A distress caused by its own making. And while we are trying to comprehend and understand the effect of this global pandemic, its impact on us, our families and friends as well as the rest of the world, we cannot help but to introspectively search for the meaning of it; the meaning of these deaths; the meaning of life itself.
This Passover and Easter, may you reflect upon that which is important to you. Not the materialistic but rather the nonmaterialistic values and aspects that matter more than life itself. May you find what you are searching for. May you find what your soul is yearning for. May this pandemic change the way we look at ourselves. May it bring compassion and understanding to a world in denial; a world void of empathy and kindness. May it change the way we live our lives forever.
To all our emergency services, disaster managers, first responders, doctors, nurses and healthcare workers and those on duty and working over this period, stay safe! RESPECT!
A reminder to visit our COVID-19 Resources page. We created this page as a one-stop-shop for first responders, emergency services and chiefs in order to provide all available information on a single platform and save you the time of searching for documents and links. The page is updated on an ongoing basis and we would appreciate your feedback and information, documents, guides and links we do not already have.
