Training: Fire fighting tactics - using a webbing loop to carry SCBA air cylinders

A 9 foot webbing loop has a lot of versatility in both utility and life rescue applications. One of the many uses for a Webbing Loop is to carry equipment. By tying an open end "girth" or "choker" hitch you can quickly attach to the valve assembly of an SCBA air cylinder. This can free up your hands allowing you to carry multiple cylinders or additional equipment. This is just one technique that can be used when staffing or personnel are limited and you need to maximise efficiency. The uses of webbing are only limited by a fire fighter's ingenuity. Train, stay prepared, be aggressive, make the save - SURVIVE!
