Interschutz places civil protection at the heart of the trade fair
|

Hannover, Germany. When international fire protection, rescue and civil protection experts gather in Hanover from 1 to 6 June 2026 for Interschutz, the focus will extend beyond cutting-edge technology and global innovations. The event will also explore the pressing challenges facing Europe and the wider world under the theme “A Turning Point in Civil Protection.” In this context, all nations are called to act, as the global community faces substantial tasks: rising wildfire risks, increasingly frequent extreme weather events, and the need for modern civil protection infrastructure amid an uncertain geopolitical climate, particularly in Europe. Interschutz is stepping into the role of solutions provider. The programme includes hands-on live demonstrations, international specialist conferences, such as the first FEU Leadership Conference of the Federation of European Fire Officers, numerous networking opportunities for emergency responders and decision-makers from around the world and a diverse supporting programme.

Companies showcase their expertise at Interschutz
As of today, roughly 90 exhibitors will present their civil protection offerings in Hall 17. They will showcase innovative products, systems, and services – ranging from preventive measures and critical infrastructure protection to rapid emergency deployment solutions. At the centre of the hall, the joint stand “New Concepts for Civil Protection” gives small and medium-sized enterprises the opportunity to present their innovations and practical solutions while engaging directly with industry experts.
“The topics addressed by Interschutz are more relevant than ever,” emphasises Rawe. “This is reflected in the steadily increasing number of exhibitors and the continuous growth in exhibition space. In all our conversations, we sense a strong desire to come together in Hanover in June 2026 to discuss today’s challenges and develop joint solutions for tomorrow – at an international level. Especially in civil protection, this need clearly transcends national borders.”
An example of modern disaster preparedness and response comes from Switzerland’s Beaver Protection Systems AG, which offers mobile flood protection systems that can be deployed quickly and flexibly. In the field of supply and infrastructure solutions, Germany’s Ellcie Industries GmbH will present a communications container for civil protection that ensures stable connections even under challenging conditions.
For mobile support and accommodation, Australia’s Humanihut Pty Ltd will showcase a modular, rapidly deployable shelter system for emergency and disaster scenarios. In the equipment and protective systems segment, the Czech company Metal Arsenal s.r.o. will introduce containment systems for hazardous materials.
Germany’s IQ Technologies for Earth and Space GmbH will present advanced sensor and early-warning systems, including the automated wildfire detection system IQ FireWatch. In vehicles and specialized equipment category, Lava Marine GmbH will exhibit rescue boats designed for flood and high-water operations. The portfolio is rounded out by communication and IT systems, including control-centre and emergency-call software solutions from COREVAS GmbH & Co. KG.
