Tshwane fire crews respond to Police vehicle collision in Sinoville, Pretoria
A South African Police Service (SAPS) vehicle crashed in Sinoville, Pretoria on Wednesday, 2 December 2020. City of Tshwane Emergency Services’ Company Commander Wise Ramonyati was the incident commander at the scene. Company commander Ramonyati reported that the call was received at 10h22 of one SAPS bakkie that lost control and overturned. “Station 5 (Wonderboom) responded with six fire fighters and one officer, a tanker (T51), a rapid intervention unit (RIU 51), a video unit and rapid response unit (C52). The vehicle was lying on its side. Extrication included the window and roof flap as there was no space to enter or remove the patient via windscreen. The call duration was 47 minutes. Two patients were on scene; one P2 female entrapment and one P2 male patient, both SAPS personnel,” said Company Commander Ramonyati.
