Ten injured in multi-vehicle collision involving 13 cars and a truck
Ten people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon, 14 May 2022, on the N1 highway in Pretoria. “At 13h26 Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N1 approximately 10 kilometres passed the Grassmere Toll Plaza in Tshwane. Reports indicated that 13 cars and a truck were involved in a collision, allegedly caused by a veld fire lowering visibility,” said Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 national spokesperson.
He added, “Medics assessed the scene and found that ten people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
