Fire destroys home in Parktown North, Johannesburg
A fire has destroyed a home on 11th Avenue in Parktown North on 23 November. The City of Johannesburg Emergency Service’s spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi, said that the fire department received the call at 11h00am and arrived at the scene within half an hour. Mulaudzi stated that there were no injuries reported. “On the 23 November 2020 at around 11h00 we responded to house on fire incident in Parktown North. Fire engines from Cosmo City and Florida Park fire stations responded to the fire incident. There were no injuries reported during the fire incident and the cause of the fire is still a subject of investigations.
