One dead, another critical in head-on collision, Pretoria
At 07H12 Wednesday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Haakdoornboom Road in Pretoria. Reports indicate that three vehicles were involved in a head-on collision. Medics assessed the scene and found that one person had sustained fatal injuries, another had sustained serious injuries, and two other people had sustained moderate injuries.
The critically injured patient was treated and stabilised on scene before being flown by helicopter to hospital. The two patients, that had sustained moderate injuries, were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to hospital for further care. The deceased had been handed over to the SAPS.
