Industry stalwart, Jim Hamilton, passes away
|
|
Industry stalwart, Jim (James) Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, 8 February 2025. He was the founding member of Hamilton Hydraulics Services cc, which was founded in 1995 to supply, service and repair hydraulic rescue equipment to the emergency, fire and rescue services, industrial facilities and mines.
His wife, Jean, sent the following message, “On behalf of myself and my family, we would like to thank everyone for all the kind words and heartfelt messages received during this difficult time.”
The date of his funeral will be announced in due course.
From all of us at Fire and Rescue International, we share our deepest condolences to Jean and the family, to the staff at Hamilton Hydraulics Services and to all his friends, colleagues internationally. Rest in Peace, Jim.
