Fire stations of the world: New fire station opens in Triana, Alabama, US

​Saturday, 24 May 2025, marked the grand opening of the new fire station in Triana in Alabama, US. It cost two million dollars to build and it includes living quarters, where a full-time firefighter will be on duty 24-7. “We’re able to use the facility to teach classes and to house a 24-7 firefighter that can respond to all medical and fire-related calls in a timely manner, where we can provide a level of coverage to Triana that they’ve never had before,” Fire Chief Chad Beddingfield said.
 
Chief Beddingfield said this new facility is critical for the town that he says has quadrupled in size over the last two decades.
