Pressurised pneumatic performance
Constructed as a heavy-duty, ASME-certified pressure vessel, The Powder Xtreme is engineered specifically to deliver extreme discharge rates under severe field conditions. Driven by high-capacity onboard nitrogen cylinders, the system houses high-performance Purple-K (PKW) dry chemical powder - the most effective agent available for Class B liquid and gas fires.
Capable of discharging dry chemical powder at extreme flow rates exceeding 9kg per second, the vessel maintains continuous pneumatic pressure throughout the discharge cycle. This ensures that the agent exits the nozzle with high kinetic energy, enabling operators to punch through process turbulence and reach the seat of pressurized chemical fires from a safe standoff distance.
Dual-agent integration and deployment versatility
While The Powder Xtreme can feed dedicated high-flow handlines for rapid intervention, its true tactical strength lies in its ability to integrate directly with Williams Fire & Hazard Control Hydro-Chem™ master streams.
By injecting Purple-K dry chemical powder directly into the centre core of a high-velocity foam stream, the system combines two vital suppression mechanisms into a single discharge:
