Wabel-4500 firefighting robot now available from DoseTech Fire

Wabel-4500 is a remotely operated robot with enhanced navigation capabilities designed to assist firefighters during operations. Its primary function is to strengthen the safety of firefighters, assist them with dangerous, difficult and physically demanding tasks. Whether in warehouses containing flammable goods or those with toxic substances, robots are the best possible way to protect lives.
Wabel can be deployed in critical areas to anticipate fires, enhance facility safety and protect people and assets. It enables controllers to initiate firefighting operations remotely, benefiting from its powerful flow rate, impressive range and considerable height. The robot empowers firefighters to confront extreme dangers, such as potential explosions, toxic chemical fires, nuclear reactors, high-temperature oil field fires and collapsed buildings.
With wireless control from a station with a range of up to 1km, Wabel is equipped with four hose inlets, GPS routing and mapping capabilities, enabling controllers to leverage its technical features effectively. The robot employs foam and water with a flow rate of 8 000lpm and includes six smart cameras covering multiple directions, providing real-time situational awareness. Additionally, it is equipped with water sprinklers to cool the surroundings and the robot itself. With its robust construction, Wabel can navigate stairs at angles of up to 30 degrees, thanks to its weight of approximately one ton.
Other features include front bumpers to facilitate obstacle collision, a dedicated camera for extinguisher target direction, a back camera for movement assistance and 15 temperature-sensing points distributed across critical components. The robot’s powerful headlights and audible siren aid visibility and alerting in smoky or low-visibility areas, ensuring effective firefighting operations and warning residents of potential dangers.
