The foundation of this rig is a heavy-duty mild steel chassis frame built to handle punishing roads. It features a tandem double braked axle, a ten-blade leaf spring suspension system and 15-inch all-terrain tires to ensure steady towing through soft sand or rugged ruts. At the front, a heavy-duty jockey wheel and a 3 500kg coupler hitch keep the setup firmly anchored. To secure a rock-solid platform when operating on scene, the frame is equipped with four heavy-duty stabiliser jacks that lock the trailer to the ground.
At the core of the extraction loop sits a compact, high-performance Tohatsu VE1500 portable fire pump. This reliable powerhouse feeds an onboard 2 500-litre horizontal water tank and an integrated 100-litre polypropylene foam tank. The pump plumbing includes a dedicated valved outlet to charge the monitor, along with an instantaneous discharge line for a manual lay-flat hose attack line.
For hard-hitting suppression, the trailer mounts a manual-control brass fire water monitor capable of throwing a maximum flow rate of 1 900 litres per minute. This solid brass monitor features full 360-degree horizontal travel and a wide 150-degree vertical elevation path, allowing a single operator to target fire seats precisely from a safe distance. The system is completed with a specialised multi-pattern nozzle to quickly adapt from a solid jet stream to a wide defensive fog pattern.
