It is designed for rapid interchangeability across entirely different environments: it can serve as a high-capacity bypass line for municipal reservoir replenishment, a critical process-water backup system for mining operations, or an overwhelming suppression network for industrial complexes. Utilizing high-capacity submersible pumps and booster units, the system drafts and transfers up to 37 800 litres per minute through advanced 304mm hose over kilometres of challenging terrain, requiring minimal resource deployment.
However, moving massive volumes of water from unverified raw sources - such as open-cast pits, rivers or cooling tower basins - introduces severe physical liabilities. Raw water is inevitably contaminated with coarse sand, pebble-sized slag and old pipeline rust scales. Allowing this debris to travel down a high-volume line at extreme velocity guarantees catastrophic asset damage, ruined pump impellers and clogged downstream equipment.
To mitigate this risk and safeguard downstream capital infrastructure across all sectors, the DELUGE integrates a heavy-duty PrepQuip in-line guard screen directly into its hydraulic stream. Processing up to 40 000l/min at 16 bar, this static straining module acts as a primary validator, extracting all destructive foreign matter down to +0.5mm with an almost negligible pressure drop. Featuring an automated dumping system, it flushes out accumulated sediment instantly without interrupting the primary flow. This ensures the entire mechanical ecosystem delivers clean, continuous utility support, whether stabilizing a municipal crisis or securing an industrial asset.
