Charnaud® has revolutionised firefighting protection with the Fire-Safe® Air Lite® firefighting bunker suit. Designed for use in structural firefighting, this fully certified firefighting suit has been innovated based on real-world rescue scenarios and with the specific requirements of active-duty firefighters in mind. A rigorous job requires durability and the Fire-Safe® Air Lite® Bunker Suit is made to withstand tough conditions while still offering excellent performance. The Fire-Safe® Air Lite® Bunker Suit is a superior choice; it is made for athletic movement with remarkable design characteristics seen in the extension underarm gussets and Action Back. High-stress areas which require good flexion, like the elbows, shoulders and knees, are reinforced with a scuff-resistant barrier and padding for added comfort. High contact areas such as suit’s trouser hem and sleeve ends are also reinforced with a scuff-resistant barrier.
Firefighters face all manner of hazards out in the field, and for enhanced protection the Fire-Safe® Air Lite® bunker suit is waterproof with a pathogen -resistant moisture barrier and totally liquid-proof seams. The Air Lite® bunker suit offers outstanding flexibility and is more durable and more comfortable than its counterparts. The suit’s comfort comes from a seamless combination of high breathability and excellent moisture-wicking properties within a super lightweight garment.
As a standard issue, the Fire-Safe® Air Lite® bunker suit comes with 50mm lime silver reflective tape on the sleeves, trouser legs and torso with the option of additional reflective tape. The Fire-Safe® Air Lite® bunker suit is available in red, navy and the newly released colour, sand with the option of customised embroidery and lettering.
