Aquila Corp’s Positive Pressure Ventilator (PPV) fan range is designed to provide reliable, high-volume airflow when effective smoke, heat and gas removal is critical. Available in 18-inch (457mm), 21-inch (533mm) and 24-inch (609mm) configurations, the range gives fire and rescue teams the flexibility to select the fan size best suited to their operational requirements. Built with durability and mobility in mind, the PPV fans feature a robust steel frame and full rubber wheels, making them easy to transport and position when arriving on scene.
An adjustable swivel base allows the fan to be positioned at different angles, providing greater control over airflow direction, while a stainless-steel footbrake helps keep the unit securely in place during operation.
All models are powered by a Magnum 7hp four-stroke petrol engine, featuring an OHV design for efficient power transfer, oil alert protection and a dual-element air cleaner. Combined with simple throttle control and a large fuel tank, the engine provides dependable performance for demanding ventilation applications.
The fan is directly mounted to the engine shaft and incorporates high-intensity, heat-resistant blades designed to deliver strong and consistent airflow. Protective stainless-steel grills on both ends of the cowling help protect the blades from external objects while in operation.
