The Institution of Fire Engineers South Africa Branch (IFE SA) is offering a Fire Risk Assessment Online Course from: 15 to 23 April 2024 and 29 July to 6 August 2024 with 26 IFE hours accredited. A fire risk assessment is a mandatory undertaking that must be carried out in all places of work and the areas that are accessible to the public. A fire risk assessment will help employees to know what to do when disaster strikes; this will minimise the damage and potentially save lives in the process. This course is aimed at professionals, who will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of fire risk assessment in the workplace, and the legislative requirements of specific risks.

Format
- 7 days: ½ days live online virtual sessions via zoom and ½ days self-study with workbooks, videos and tutorials on IFE College Platform.
- Q & A sessions with subject matter experts via zoom
- Practical sessions with group sessions
- Daily formative assessments and one final assessment
