Fire stations of the world: East Brandywine Fire Company in Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania, US
The officers and members of East Brandywine Fire Company recently had the opportunity to officially open the newly renovated Fire Station situated at 2096 Bondsville Road in Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania in the US. The Company undertook this project nearly two years ago and the journey has been remarkable. The second floor of the firehouse features a larger conferencing area, smaller private meeting and training areas and an outdoor gathering space, which will all are available for rental to the community.
The building campaign allows the EBFC community to become part of the building with name recognition prominently located and incorporated into the 2-storey vestibule entrance of the firehouse. All the volunteers of East Brandywine Fire Company would like to thank the Building Task Force for making the project a reality. The eight members of the Task Force worked tirelessly for two years to ensure the Station was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Task force members include: President: John Edwards Chief: Vince D’Amico Deputy Chief: Sergio Ora Assistant Chief: Joe Monestere Chief Engineer: Bobby Zynn Lieutenant: Greg Pilotti Recording Secretary: Leslie Edwards Treasurer: Ken Ader Source: East Brandywine Fire Company |
