Technology: The Hydrolift P-42 Firefighter

​The Hydrolift P-42 Firefighter is a specialised vessel designed for firefighting and rescue operations. Performance when called for! The Hydrolift Professional platform raises the bar in the service vessel category, by combining the latest technology, modern design techniques and verified human factors science. Hydrolift P-42 Firefighter is a rapid mobilisation and response vessel. The Firefighter model is equipped with powerful FiFi (FireFighting) capability including RC nozzle, dual pumps and FLIR camera. It is a high performance fire vessel; fast and manoeuvrable, making 40+ knots with waterjet propulsion. The Hydrolift P-42 FIRE model is an agile vessel based on modular design with focus on high level of safety, functionality and cost of ownership. The Sea and Rescue (SAR) model is developed through close cooperation with the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue and all the vessels are produced at the Hydrolift boatyard in Fredrikstad, Norway.
