Seven people injured in a three-vehicle collision in Durban

​Seven people were injured, one critically, after a three-vehicle collision on Ridge Road before the Hospital in Durban on Friday morning, 17 March 2023. ALS Paramedics responded to multiple calls of assistance around 07h30am and dispatched multiple units to the scene. On arrival, Paramedics found chaos as six occupants from one of the vehicles had sustained multiple injuries. One occupant from a second vehicle also sustained injuries.
 
Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise all the injuries they were transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
 
At this stage, the events leading up to the collision is unknown, however, SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
