RDS fire fighters are skilled individuals who do ordinary jobs and offer evening, daytime and/or weekend cover. There has been a fire station in Prestatyn for over 100 years; the station has been at its present site on Marine Road since 1975 and past locations have included the town hall and the garages of the local Kwik Save.
Prestatyn Fire Station was the first station to have a retained leading female fire fighter in Wales.
