ETS Industrial Emergency Response Competition countdown: 27 October 2022
The temperature is rising in the ETS Competition Kitchen as we prepare to make this the “BEST EVAH”! Individually, each fire fighter is a formidable force but together, their ability and creativity bring so much more to the table. We have 19 teams enrolled and the programme is fast paced and will require the very best of every competitor. One of the benefits of competing regularly is to promote physical fitness which is an essential part of structural fire fighting. It requires hard physical labour and may expose the individual to a high level of mental and emotional stress, even mortal danger in real life situations but it can be one of the most rewarding jobs in the world.
Doing the job well requires a highly developed sense of personal dedication, a genuine desire to help people, the ability to master a variety of skills and to apply them when needed. This year’s slogan is: “NO FEAR HERE”. As always, our trophies are sponsored and made by very talented and creative artists. There will be ample opportunity to be updated with the latest products and trends in the SA Marketplace with these respected industry exhibitors.
