Fire ravages East London Eco Tanks warehouse, East London
Buffalo City fire fighting crews responded to the fire at the Eco Tanks warehouse in Wilsonia, East London, early on Thursday, 9 March 2023. The fire caused extensive damage to parts of the factory. Eco Tanks statement read, “We can confirm that there was a fire in a section of our East London factory this morning. We are blessed to report that the fire has been contained and there have been no injuries or loss of life.”
“After assessing the damage following yesterday morning’s fire at our East London premises, it is business as usual. We were incredibly blessed that the damage was limited to our raw material processing plant, leaving our main building, admin block and finished goods stock undamaged”, stated Eco Tanks.
