Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB) upcoming course

​The North West University (NWU) Training Centre is assessing the possibility of hosting a course in Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB). This one-day course will be presented by the South African Burn Society and they need to determine interest.  Please inform them if you would be interested to join.

Cost: R2 400pp
Duration: 07h00-18h00
CPD: 9 Clinical 
Course content:  Burn pathophysiology, burn size and depth, emergency examination and treatment, burn area and fluid management, referral and transfer, escharotomy, burn depth and wound management; airway management and inhalation injury, paediatric, chemical, electrical, EMSB approach.
