Inspiration: Quote of the week
I always try to look on the bright side of life. I may not have everything that I want in life but I have everything that I need. And this always pushes me to go on no matter the circumstances. It is easier to smile or laugh at a situation than to worry. Even Jesus Christ advised us not to worry too much because we won't gain anything from worry, we won't grow even an inch!
If you're faced with hardship, face it back head on with determination and intent to overcome it. Think about the best solution to the problem. Get advice from someone. Talk about it, talk to people you can confide in, people you can trust. Do something about it and be bold. Never allow situations to dictate your happiness. I have experienced many hardships in life and I still do, but I can safely say that I'm truly blessed to be able to look into the matter with hopeful eyes. Hope is what drives me. Each time I fall, I pull myself up. If I can't, I always ask someone to kindly lift me up. There is always someone willing to help me. Even strangers. It's the beauty of life. Never give up! It's the end of the month of October 2022 and as I write this piece, it's the last few hours before we step into November. I'm filled with great hope. The same hope that a young girl or young boy has in tomorrow, that it will be a better day; that if she/he tries just one more time, life will become easier and wonderful. I'm filled with faith that my wishes will in fact come true. I have faith because I know God has always reached out to me. I have faith because He has taken me from a painful past to this wonderful present wherein I can proudly say that I'm no longer suffering as a result of poverty. I have faith because I know. I know that if I can withstand the pressures and the painful moments of life, then I can also share my strength. Those who look up to me can be inspired by my story; by their observation of me and by my character. I may err in my endeavours but I have love for great things in life. My wishes are to encourage all those who find life's challenges to be perhaps daunting and hard to decipher, to ignore the syndrome of "what will people say" but to embrace the fact that we all are experiencing some sort of a daunting task. But we move on. We carry our heads high up and push forwards with a single goal in mind: happiness. Happiness brings joy, and joy brings satisfaction. In conclusion, I dare you to try and cultivate a sense of happiness most of the time, in spite of any seemingly difficult situation because happiness brings joy. This is how I try amidst the bad times and in good times I spread more love. I pray that I may continue to be your motivation and inspiration.
